I am not sure about Alabama, but in my state you can access this information online, anytime, free of charge.How to you access public court records online for free in Alabama?
You would likely be able to find it on the county state or superior court clerk's website, at least for civil cases, if they have one. They probably don't include the actual documents, but you could see the calendar on a case and any submitted filings by name.
