Does anyone know a website where i can find an archive of newspapers and public records for city's in Ohio?

Any info on how to access any ohio public records would be a real help.Does anyone know a website where i can find an archive of newspapers and public records for city's in Ohio?
Ancestry has a newspaper archive for the entire USA, but it is a subscription data base.

The US Gen Web site for Ohio

http://www.ohgen.net/ohgenweb/

will lead you to each county's site. Some have more data than others.

The good people at the Preble County Library have thousands of Preble County records - birth, death, marriage, obituaries - on line at

Other counties don't.

If you are looking for death records, Google "SSDI". There are several on-line. They are nation-wide.Does anyone know a website where i can find an archive of newspapers and public records for city's in Ohio?
I dont think they have that online, but you can try thats states library. But I think you have to go to the Ohio library and look there.Hope I helped.
