Trying to find a site that doesn't charge for info on ancestors and relatives. mainly public records.What site has a completely free people and public records search?
Utah, Missouri, West Virginia and Arizona have completely free BMD records for selected counties and people who have been dead for over 50 - 100 years. Write if you want links.



Some other states have death indexes, which give anything from date alone to date, spouse, mother's maiden name.



There isn't a national site, except the SSDI.

Ancestors.there are many familysearch.org is the one most people think of...however although free the information they hold is IGI based, not checked, verified records...so a great free resource however use only as a clue where to look for real records don't completely trust or you will end up with a tree of unrelated people.



There are many others from free look up, census, forrums, message boards, record indexes, transcribed datatbases etc and other free records which are cited, youmay need to target the information you want, but you don't have to pay to research...also your library will have free access to such websites as ancestry and other subscription websites and possibly other fiches of records locally to you and there will be a local family records centre near your home where you can view records free......the links on the website I gave you also may help with links you could look at....good luckWhat site has a completely free people and public records search?

I had searched myself some time back and it delivered accurate information and it Truly was no cost and never asked me for a credit card to gain access to the information. I hope this helps.
