My friend was recently arrested for resisting arrest and leading police officers on a high-speed chase. No drugs or alcohol were involved, but there was a passenger. He was being pulled over for speeding but panicked and tried to make a break for it.

I am wondering two things:

What is the traditional penalty for this type of crime?

and

Since his family will not tell us where he is, how can we find out where he is being held?
