Check witht he county clerks office. They will have the records of what is going on with the property.



It will show who owns the property, and the when actions are filed against the property.



It will also show who the money is owed to. Then you can contact them directly and find out what is going with it. And make sure they are getting the money from you.

you can go to the county records and look under recorded documents. Type in the homeowners name and you can see all of the public recorded documents for that person. Look for one that says Notice of Trustee sale, or Lis Pendens
